Doug was raised in humble beginnings in the Ozark mountains in southwest Missouri. His small-town upbringing with big-time values has proven to resonate within the sales & business community.
While earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Business School, he started a sales and marketing company that rapidly expanded across the western United States. This first experience in business then led Doug into his late 20’s with partnerships operating nine franchise restaurants in Denver, CO.
In late 2006, Doug invested in a small contracting business in Colorado and assumed the role of General Manager. In his second year at the helm, he led the company from $3,500,000 in residential projects to over $7,000,000. In 2009, his company was named by Inc Magazine as one of the Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America.
In 2010, after meeting Dr. Stephen R. Covey, and becoming truly inspired by his work, Doug became certified as an instructor of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Since 2010, Doug has worked with over 1,000 small businesses nationwide to help them implement powerful sales, marketing, leadership, and business development strategies.
In late 2015, Doug partnered with a small heating and air conditioning company in Denver, CO as co-owner. His leadership and proven business strategies spurred an astonishing 100% growth year-over-year for three years running. Despite being in business for 18 years previously, his strategies equated to millions of dollars in growth each year. One of the largest international equipment manufacturers, Lennox INTL., then recognized his new company as the Lennox Partner of The Year just 14 months later! Doug’s company was awarded Lennox Partner of the year in 2016 & 2018!
In 2018 Doug became a partner and the Chief Operations Officer at SleepSana, an all-natural sleep aid, which he helped to gain distribution and placement regionally in Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Hy-Vee, and many others. He’s delivered the national sales meetings for the nation’s largest residential sales team for Daikin in North America in back-to-back years, in 2018 & 2019.
In 2022 he created a program to increase the effectiveness of over 3,000 salespeople at GE Health. In 2023 he conducted the one-day and three-day national sales meetings for Dynamic Air Quality Solutions, the world’s foremost manufacturer of both residential and commercial indoor air quality products.
In October of 2023, Synergy Learning Systems entered into the Initial Pre-Launch Phase 01 of their interactive virtual training system. Complete with over 1,000 professionally produced micro-learning videos, each with interactivities akin to a “Choose Your Own Adventure Novel” learning style, and each finishing with a quiz to signal the intended learning has been achieved, Synergy is now poised to solve the challenge of implementation for individuals and teams around the globe.

meet bryce
Bryce first attended Grand Valley State University’s Film and Video program in 2016. After excelling in this program for two years, his vision for himself and the future began to change. He made the decision to transfer schools to Northwood University, where he would go on to earn his Management Degree and graduate Magna Cum Laude. While actively pursuing this degree, Bryce began to shape the next 7 years of his life by starting to film weddings with a small company in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In 2017, Bryce entered the world of entrepreneurship, establishing his own video production company with the goal of providing the highest-quality wedding films available. Over the next seven years, his company won multiple awards, received a plethora of 5-star reviews and rapidly expanded.
In November of 2021, Bryce made his lifelong goal of moving to Colorado a reality. He packed up all of his belongings and said goodbye to his friends and family in Michigan, and moved to The Rockies to start a new chapter for himself.
In October of 2022, Bryce joined the team at Synergy as the Master of Videography. As Doug has jokingly stated: “He’s by far the best videographer we’ve had…so far.” Since his time at Synergy has begun, Bryce has continued to grow both personally and professionally. Bryce has said, “Doug and the entire team at Synergy have had a significant impact on my life. I’ve learned more about business and personal development in my first few days than I did in my four years at a first-class business university!”
Bryce now leads a team of eleven video editors around the world producing thousands of customized micro-learning segments for Synergy Learning Systems. He’s also rapidly ascending within the organization. Most recently Bryce is working with the team on the business development side, helping to serve clients and share how Synergy’s comprehensive solutions are helping individuals and organizations solve the challenge of implementation.
Bryce continues to be inspired and committed to what he refers to as “The Synergy Squad!” By continuing to serve our clients and friends alongside Doug and the rest of the team, he’s passionate about helping to positively change millions of lives!
